Elizabeth MacRae Day

I can just about guaran-friggin-tee you that this is the only Elizabeth MacRae blog post on planet Earth today. Pictures of her are awfully hard to find. She has the sweetest little Fayetteville, North Carolina whisper you ever heard.

Tiny pictures of her here.

Hi there!
My first comment to this blog (great stuff, by the way)...

Ms. MacRae was one of my favorite 60's starlets growing up just because she played Lou-Ann Poovie, Gomer Pyle's girlfriend! It wasn't until much later that I began noticing her in other productions...

Thank you for these Elizabeth Macrae photos, Mr. Parker, of which there are very few to be seen anywhere on the internet. I first saw her in the film "The Conversation", a great early 70's movie directed by Francis Ford Coppola, & was struck by her lovely face & sweet very feminine voice. I have since seen her on only a couple of other occasions & she had a natural flirtacious manner to her acting which made her so very attractive.
